Single Laxman Coat [VTD-0486-CT] #2 CHARCOAL

A single breasted long coat, made from a special, in-house developed horse cloth.

The material is a yarn-dyed plain weave which is infused with a water repellent paraffin.  The cloth is densely woven using a vintage shuttle machine in Enshu to make it stiffer.

At first, it is stiff enough to stand on its own, but as you wear it, it will adapt to your body and soften beautifully.  It has a single breasted front closure with real water buffalo buttons. The coat is fully lined and intentionally oversized - intended to be layered over jackets and chunky knits in to the winter.

This coat has a unique design, with patch pockets placed in easy-to-reach positions that overlap the hand-warmer pockets and are sewn inside.
