Denim anorak hoodie [H-JK007] - Indigo

H-Unit's Anorak Hoodie is conceptualized from a US M-43 Field Parka but has been modified with a heightened functionality / utility. 

It's star features are the huge pocket spaces on the front and back of the garment.  The front pocket has two button down angled flap entry. The back pocket has multiple button down entry points and is pleated for even more room allowance. These pocket designs would have been for storage of large fabric such as blankets or bandages for use mid combat.

The Hood is styled after a Navy Gunner's smock and had an exaggerated depth which would have been worn over a soldiers helmet.

The garment is crafted from a 2/1 twill 10oz work denim.  The warp is a natural yarn dyed pure indigo, and the weft is a natural uneven yarn dyed with TOP gray.  It has been prewashed to bring out the Blue of the dye and will look better and better over time as it is worn and washed further.
